The blog home page is one landing page for your whole blog at /blogs/all. It lists all your articles, and readers can search your posts and filter them by category.

This helps readers find the post they need, even when you have many blogs or a lot of articles.

How to set up the blog home page in Shopify

1. Open vevy from the Apps menu in your Shopify admin.

2. Go to Templates.

3. On the Blog home page with search card, click Set up blog home.

When the page is ready, the card shows it as Live. Click View blog home to open the page on your store.

You can also start from the Blogs dashboard. In the right sidebar, the Blog filter page card has a Set up button.

On the Free and Starter plans, the card shows a PRO badge. The Set up button takes you to the plans.

How filters work

The blog home page filters your articles by category. Set a category for each post in the editor, so readers can find it with the filters.

Send /blogs to your blog home page

You can add redirects so that readers who visit paths like /blogs land on /blogs/all.

1. On the Blog home page with search card, click Manage redirects. This opens Settings > Redirects.

2. Add a redirect, for example from /blogs to /blogs/all.

3. Save.

Change the background of the blog home page

You can give the blog home page its own background.

1. Go to Templates.

2. On the Customize your article template card, click Customize design.

3. Open the Styles tab.

4. Under Blog home page, set the Custom background.

5. Click Save settings.
